AlphaCare is pleased to introduce the newest member of our staff, Helen R. Gill. A Business Consultant and ordained Minister, Helen serves with her husband, Rev. Jeremiah Gill, Pastor & Founder of Holy Temple of The Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Inc. located in Philadelphia. Rev. Jeremiah Gill and Helen have a wonderful son named Tyler.

For over 32 years, Helen has worked in the area of business administration. As a Consultant, she has traveled extensively to provide churches with computer training, payroll and accounting services and trained church staff in financial and bookkeeping operations. Her primary work is to assist faith- and community-based organizations in the area of organizational and program development and in obtaining a nonprofit, tax-exempt status; providing support in maintaining compliance with IRS standards and procedures. In 2014, Helen expanded her services and developed Virtual Business Services, offering businesses and nonprofit organizations support virtually in addition to her trainings via seminars, workshops, and individual consultations.

Throughout her career, Helen has strived to combine her skill for administration with her love for young people. Her greatest love and concern is for their spiritual and educational growth and development. Therefore, Helen has served as a youth outreach worker, participated in the development of a center for youth literacy, and was a Program Director for an initiative to prevent truancy.

Through a mutual connection, Helen learned of the open Administrative Assistant position at AlphaCare. Little did this person know, Helen had been praying to God for a change so she could pursue her passion for Christ and use her business experience in her local community.

On May 1st, Helen began her employment at AlphaCare. Although it’s only been a short time, she confided that she loves working at AlphaCare. “The staff are genuine, loving and caring believers of Christ! It’s almost unbelievable that God heard my prayer and placed me in an environment where I can serve Him, His people and have the opportunity to learn more while serving the needs of others…I am fully persuaded that God has placed me here for a purpose. I’m looking forward to what God has planned for AlphaCare and the work he has called me to do with this wonderful organization.”
